Do children need a ticket?
Children 12 years old and under do NOT need a ticket to enjoy the 2019 Tampa Pig Jig.
How much are Beer + BBQ tickets and will they be available at the gate?
A limited number of Beer + BBQ tickets will be available to the 2019 Tampa Pig Jig and include your ticket to get in, plus an unlimited craft beer and barbecue sampling experience from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on event day - all for only $50! This is package is expected to sell out in advance, and will not be available at the gate. Purchase in advance by visiting our ticket page.
How much are VIP tickets and what do they include?
Prepare for a one-of-a-kind experience with our VIP Ticket Packages. They include incredible food from our partners at Hank’s Catfish BBQ & More, Empamamas, Little Donut House and the Boozy Pig*, four complimentary drinks, exclusive access to the Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners VIP Tent, and the best view in the park in the Preferred Materials, Inc + Ferman Nissan/Harley-Davidson of Tampa Front Row.
VIP ticket packages are $125 by purchasing in advance online. If available, VIP tickets will be sold at the gate for $150.
But, trust us, you don’t want to miss out on the fun. Guarantee your spot in VIP and get your tickets in advance!

If I have VIP tickets, can my child access the VIP area as well?
Kids 12 and under who have been admitted for free can join you in any area that your designated ticket category permits. Any children over the age of 12, must have the appropriate ticket level to join you in private/VIP areas.

Is there food and drink for purchase outside VIP?
Absolutely! Curtis Hixon Park will feature vendors throughout selling food, beer, wine, sodas, liquor and more.
Are dogs allowed?
We love our furry friends! Dogs are allowed in the General Admission area ONLY and they must be leashed and picked up after at all times.
How do we enter the silent auction?
To enter our silent auction, sign up for Qtego by texting PIGJIG to 79230. Bidding won’t be live until the week of the event, but stay tuned for details on packages and prizes listed on our social channels.
How do we buy entry into the 50/50 raffle?

What items are prohibited at Curtis Hixon Park?
For ease of accessing the Tampa Pig Jig, guests are encouraged to travel as lightly as possible. The following items are not permitted on event day:
Bags larger than 12x12x12 inches, backpacks or wrapped packages
Cameras with lenses smaller than 4” will be permitted, but camera bags will not be permitted.
iPads and GoPros
Binoculars are permitted, but binocular bags are not permitted.
Video or audio recording devices
Weapons of any kind
Bottles, cans, or containers of any kind
Sharp objects, sticks or poles of any kind
Pepper spray or mace
Coolers or outside food or beverage items
Drugs or controlled substances
Chairs, folding chairs or any other type of individual chair for use
Large banners or signs, banners or signs with objectionable language, banners or signs on a pole of any kind
Please note, prohibited items discovered inside the designated area or any items left unattended for any amount of time are subject to confiscation. Prohibited items discovered during security inspections at the checkpoints must be either returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. There are no lockers or safekeeping locations offered at the event.
What is the Tampa Pig Jig’s alcohol ordinance?
All Tampa Pig Jig guests must adhere to the following rules:
No outside alcohol will be allowed in the event.
Guests who are obviously impaired will not be admitted through the event checkpoint at the discretion of event management.
You must be at least 21-years-old to purchase alcohol. All alcohol sales require a government issued photo ID as proof of age.
No Identification; No Alcohol.
Is there a rideshare drop-off and pick-up area?
Fans are encouraged to celebrate responsibly and utilize rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft when attending the Tampa Pig Jig. For your convenience, guests using taxis, limos and rideshare vehicles can be picked up or dropped off in front of Curtis Hixon Park on Ashley Drive in our designated rideshare lane.
Are there designated parking areas?
There is not a designated parking area for the Tampa Pig Jig, but a number of public and private parking structures throughout downtown Tampa are available to accommodate fans attending the event. Primary parking structures include:

What does the money raised by the Tampa Pig Jig go towards?
We are so glad that you asked! The Tampa Pig Jig benefits Nephcure Kidney International, the only nonprofit organization committed to supporting research, improving treatment and finding a cure for the debilitating kidney disease, Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and Nephrotic Syndrome. Now in its 9th year, the Tampa Pig Jig is proud to have given more than $4 million to help fight this disease.
How can I get a media credential to cover the Tampa Pig Jig?
All members of the media must fill out our 2019 Tampa Pig Jig Media Application Form. All requests for media credentials must be submitted by Saturday, October 12, 2019 to be considered. Any submissions received after that date cannot be guaranteed consideration.
