Pig Jig raises money for FSGS

TAMPA, Fla – The fourth annual Pig Jig festival drew record crowds to the down town Tampa tonight.

The event was started by a group of friends in 2011 with the goal to raise money to find a cure for FSGS, a debilitating kidney disease.

Since the inception, Pig Jig has raised more than $700,000 for research.

Officials say this year alone proceeds from the event will top $400,000, all of that money going to fight FSGS.
